Submissions Guidelines for Fantasy Ezine

Fantasy Ezine accepts submissions from writers, poets, artists, photographers, musicians and short film makers. The main stipulations are that the submissions are fantasy / sci-fi themed and that they are your own original work.

Important

By making a submission to Fantasy Ezine you are certifying that you own the legal rights to the work in question and that you will pay any legal costs incurred by this publication in the event that this is proven not to be the case. By "owning" the work we do not mean owning a print or reproduction of a piece of art, in this context "ownership" means being the author or artist concerned, provided that you have retained the rights to the work and not sold or given them to a third party.

We do not accept fanfiction using previously established characters or settings from another author or artist so please do not submit anything based on pre-existing work where you do not already own the copyright.

We ask that each person wishing to make a submission takes out an annual subscription to Fantasy Ezine. At $10, we do not feel that this is much to ask and it will help to offset the time spent reading a large volume of manuscripts and submissions. Although we are asking that each person making a submission subscribes, Fantasy Ezine offers no guarantee that this will result in publication. Sole editorial discretion and quality control remains with the Fantasy Ezine editorial team.

We are open minded in terms of format and may seek to serialise longer works.
