Fantasy Ezine Issue 2

June 30, 2009

Fantasy Ezine Issue 2Issue 2 of Fantasy Ezine features cover art by acclaimed painter of myth and magick Jessica Galbreth. We also have an extensive interview and feature on Jessica in this issue.

There are many extremely talented artists featured in this issue including Gothic Fairy and Horror artist Delphine Levesque Demers, photographic manipulation artist Susan Schroder and award-winning illustrator, graphic designer and art director Michael Apice.

We also preview the postage stamps designed for the UK Royal Mail by renowned Fantasy Artist Dave McKean. The story behind each of these wonderful stamps was written by one of the most popular fantasy genre authors of our time, Neil Gaiman and the collaboration between the two giants of the genre really makes these a treasure for any Fantasy fan.

We look ahead to the new lead characters in Doctor Who, which will see the departure of the incredibly popular David Tennant from the lead role to be replaced by a relative unknown. Many fans are sceptical but time will tell whether this is justified or merely a fear of the unknown. (Which would be ironic coming from fans of a series about scary journeys into the unknown!)

We have a taster of the happenings at the Elf Fantasy Fair in Holland. This is the biggest Fantasy fair in Europe and is well worth attending. There is an extensive photo feature on this. There is also an interview with Charles Stephan, a Ball Jointed Doll maker from the Netherlands.

Also featured is a short story by writer Logan Branjord and we have an article by regular contributor Fiona Murray of Elemental Beings Ltd, this time showcasing her new book called Messages from Nature’s Guardians.
